Ordering & Delivery Information

Ordering Quantities:

For bulk and refill items, please order in increments of the size listed. For example, for 400g of oats, please add 4 x the item to the cart. Please note that different categories have different increment amounts; herbs & spices are usually sold in 10g increments instead of 100g increments.

Stock Levels:

We do our very best to keep the website updated to reflect current stock levels. However,
sometimes we may sell out of an item before we can update the website, so if that is the case we
will contact you to offer you something similar or we will take the out of stock item off your order and refund you if you have paid by credit card online. Or, you can choose to retain shop credit for a future order.


Orders packed for local collection or delivery will be packed in recycled paper bags that are certified
food safe. Each food item will be weighed and labelled with the product name, packing date, best
before date, country of origin, price per 100g or kilo, and actual weight and price. If you are
purchasing an item with multiple ingredients (such as muesli mix, or chocolate), we will also enclose
a list of ingredients.

Refills of liquid items can be ordered online for local collection only (refill liquids cannot be shipped), and in addition to a scale label, any
cleaning products will also have a manufacturer’s label detailing the product name, ingredients, usage instructions
and safety notices.


We use Stripe to take payments securely online from all credit cards, so please use this option for all shipping orders. For orders for local collection, please pay by credit card or cash on collection.  We will include a copy of your original order as a receipt in your order.

Food items are packaged manually, from our dispensers and then weighed on our scale, so each
item will have a breakdown of price per grams or kilogram, the actual weight and the final price. This
may vary slightly from the website price (i.e. if we pack 299 or 301g instead of 300g), but the
variation should be minimal and we try our best to be exact or for it to be over the amount you ordered.

Collection and Delivery:

Orders placed online can either be collected from the shop or shipped. Please see further
information below.


Orders can also be placed for collection; please choose the ‘Local Pick-up from PAX in Westport’
option at checkout. Please also fill in the field to indicate the day and time you would like to collect,
so we can be sure to have your order ready for you.

Please note that we have a small team, so we ask that you order by 1 pm for collection after the 4
pm the same day, but we appreciate longer lead times.

Courier Delivery & Charges:

We ship via DPD, who deliver to all addresses in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Unfortunately, no refill liquids can be shipped, as there is no way to guarantee they will not leak and damage other contents and we cannot accept responsibility for losses due to leakage.

We ship goods in reused cardboard boxes and with reused packing material; we do not buy any new packing materials except for paper tape. In the case that you order multiple items in glass jars, we may use bubble wrap to ensure these don’t break, but this will always be reused. We generally do our best to use only reused paper and cardboard even for glass.

Shipping Charges:

€6 nationwide in the ROI & Northern Ireland, maximum of 25kgs

FREE shipping applies to orders over €80

Delivery Times:

We endeavour to pack orders as soon as possible after we receive them. We will dispatch them
within 48 hours of receipt of orders between Monday and Thursday, but orders placed from Friday
through Sunday may take longer due to busy periods in the shop on Friday and Saturday, and
because we are closed on Sundays.

Given the current high demand on couriers, once parcels are shipped it may take up to 48 hours
before you receive them.

Issues and Returns:

Please notify us as soon as you receive your order if any items are incorrect or damaged. We would
appreciate it if you could send photos to [email protected] to help us understand the
issue, as we may need to submit a claim with the courier if mishandling caused the damage.

For packing mistakes or products with defects, we may offer an exchange or refund depending on
the issue.

Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds for items that were damaged by misuse or accidents (i.e.
water bottles that were dented when dropped onto the ground). However, if there is a legitimate
structural issue with any product, please let us know.
Please note that all food items are labelled with best before dates and the date on which they are
packed. It is your responsibility to consume food with regard to these dates.

All personal care and cleaning products should be kept sealed and out of reach of children at all times.
