Amaranth is one of the world’s oldest cultivated crops, and grows an abundance of small edible seeds. It is usually treated as a pseudo-cereal like quinoa, and cooked as a grain to make porridge, a side dish or a base for salads and grain bowls. It is naturally gluten-free and high in protein.
To use: boil on its own or with another grain like oats, rice, barley or millet in water or veg stock, or bake in granola, muffins, cakes or bread.
Storage Instructions: Please store in an airtight container out of direct sunlight, and use by the best before date for freshest flavour.
