The antioxidants and flavonoids present in the cocoa husk have powerful anti-inflammatory properties. It contains high levels of Theobromine which offer a smooth mood boost. Contrary to caffeine, theobromine is a slow-release energy-boosting compound. Vitamins and Minerals: B vitamins, vitamin A, iron, zinc, calcium and a heap of magnesium.

The Cacao Husk tea is vegan, and it combines well with oat milk for a creamier drink. It does not contain any sugar or additives. Because Nibbed makes use of the whole bean in this healthy brew– cacao mass from their home roasted nibs and the cacao husk– it is a zero waste product, especially sold in bulk (packed into your own jar or a paper bag).

How to brew: Brew 2 teaspoons in freshly boiled water. Wait 5 mins. Stir, strain and pour. Great with milk or the sweetener of your choice.
